Because You are magic
When you start taking care of yourself, you begin showing up in the world with magic. You become magnetic.
And when you do this, you’ll notice that people start trying to latch on to you. But remember, when you’re shining your light, you’ll attract both good and bad – as the saying goes, all sorts of things are attracted to the light.
So today, I want to talk about ways you can activate your feminine energy.
✨ Awaken the Divine Feminine in You ✨ with my free guide

The Feminine Energy Inside You
Feminine energy is something you already have inside of you. I’ll just get straight to the point—there’s no need to do XYZ to activate it.
The truth is, we all already possess both male and female energies within us; we are all a blend of yin and yang.
It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female. The real question is, how do you bring out your feminine energy?
There are many women who struggle with letting go and tapping into that softer, feminine side of themselves.

This episode is all about helping you reconnect with that beautiful part of you. It’s something I’m truly passionate about, and it’s wild to think about.
I believe I’ve always been called to talk about these things because they’ve come so naturally to me.
Embracing Your Feminine Energy
When I was younger, I used to be bullied for being in touch with my feminine energy.
Friends would call me all sorts of names, accusing me of having “sexual energy” and questioning why I was always so “sexual.”
It was a struggle for me to embrace this energy at first. But as I grew, I learned to love and accept that side of me.

Now, I feel incredibly comfortable with it, and I want to help other women tap into that beautiful energy within them too.
Honestly, I think this is what makes life worth living.
Feminine Energy as Your Sanctuary
Life as a woman isn’t always easy, especially with all that’s going on around us.
We face challenges every day. But in the chaos of the world, I truly believe that our feminine energy is our own power and sanctuary.
It helps us stay grounded and sane. That’s why I encourage every woman to nourish this part of themselves.
If you need some help to embody your magic, I created the perfect self love course to ignite the goddess in you ✨“Unleash Your Wild Feminine” ✨

What Does Feminine Energy Look Like?
To simplify feminine energy, think about that confident woman—the “it girl.”
She exudes a certain aura: she’s confident, magnetic, and sexy. She walks into a room and instantly stands out.
That can be you. Feminine energy is about embodying that confidence and magnetism.
To truly tap into your feminine energy, though, it’s crucial to return to your inner child. You might be asking,
“What does that have to do with anything?” Well, it’s at the core of everything.

Returning to Your Inner Child
Our inner child holds the key to unlocking our feminine energy. As kids, many of us had a sense of freedom and magic.
We played without inhibitions and had imaginary friends, believing in things beyond our current reality.
If you watch children play—whether you’re a parent, on the fence, an aunt, or even a stranger walking by a playground—you’ll notice how free-spirited they are. That’s the essence of feminine energy.
The magic of your feminine energy is rooted in that free-spirited, creative nature.
Reconnecting with that part of yourself is essential for unlocking your full potential.

The Power of Creativity
One of the first things I recommend for activating your feminine energy is embracing creativity.
In our world today, adults are often told that creativity is childish, something you grow out of.
We’re expected to solely focus on paying bills, getting married, having kids, and taking care of others.
But I’m here to tell you: creativity is not childish. It’s an essential part of your spirit.
Creativity is where you come alive. It’s where you can discover the true magic within yourself.
And the best part is, the more you embrace it, the more it expands.
The more you practice creativity, the more it returns to you, filling you with even more joy thus making you magnetic.
Enlist Your Feminine Energy
Tap into your divine feminine energy.
It’s there within you, waiting to be embraced.
Connect with Nature
Many of us, especially city dwellers, struggle with connecting to nature. But nature has medicine for us.

We need to find ways to return to it as much as possible. Of course, not everyone can move to a cabin in the woods, but we can make the effort.
I know it’s still winter for many of us, and nature doesn’t always seem accessible. But embrace it!
Even if it’s cold, go outside. I have friends in Montreal who are still finding ways to connect with nature—whether it’s snowshoeing or walking in the snow.
You don’t need to be surrounded by lush forests. It can be a simple walk in the park, a visit to the beach, or just taking in the natural surroundings.
If you can’t access nature, bring it indoors.
Keep plants in your house, whatever works for you. Nature keeps us grounded and helps reduce stress.
It’s essential for connecting with your feminine energy, embracing the flow of life, and living with ease.

Cultivate Your Intuition
I hear a lot of women say they don’t know how to connect with their intuition, but the good news is that intuition is like a muscle—the more you tap into it, the stronger it becomes.
Start with meditation.
Trust me, I wasn’t always into meditation, but now I swear by it.
Sitting in silence helps you tune into that little voice inside, and the more you practice, the louder and clearer it becomes.
Your intuition has always been there; we just need to listen.

Practice Self-Care
Self-care is more than physical or vain acts.
It’s about self-respect and self-preservation.
As women, we’re often conditioned to put everyone else first and leave ourselves last. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Think of the airplane analogy: You need to put on your own mask before assisting others.

You must fill your own cup first. Self-care grounds you and helps you show up better for others.
Start with small rituals—maybe it’s enjoying a cup of tea or treating yourself to a bubble bath.
I love wearing my favorite dress just to go to a coffee shop. You deserve to feel good all the time, not just on special occasions.
I also take the time to appreciate little things, like the beautiful red rose my friend gifted me. Every time I look at it, it brings me joy.
That’s the essence of self-care: finding joy in simple moments and showing yourself love.

Embrace Community
We live in a time of heightened isolation, and it’s important to stay connected with others.
Even if you live alone, find ways to reach out.
As introverts, we sometimes get lost in our own worlds.
For instance, I might spend an entire week at home, reading and enjoying my own company.
But we still need to connect. Whether it’s a yoga class, a book club, or a simple trip to the coffee shop, it’s important to engage with community.
Find Joy in Your Hobbies
Embrace hobbies as a way to stay grounded, release stress, and boost your mood.
Plus, they often bring a sense of community. If you don’t already have a hobby, find one that you love. Whether it’s dancing, painting, or knitting, find something that allows you to express yourself.

Connect with Your Body
Embody your feminine energy by connecting with your body and sensuality.
As a dance teacher, I’m passionate about this practice. It’s an ongoing journey—especially through stages like perimenopause—but it’s a lifetime practice.
Maintaining your physical health is just as important as your mental and emotional health.

There are many ways to connect with your body.
Whether it’s dance, yoga, or just moving in a way that feels good, movement is essential. It’s not just physical—it helps release stuck emotions and trauma.
So many studies keep showing how movement is important for mental and emotional health. It doesn’t need to be a rigid routine—just move in a way that feels right for you.

For me, dance is my main practice. I teach various styles, including Afrobeat, salsa, and pole dancing. I also offer all of these in my dance and feminine embodiment retreats.
There are so many ways to move your body. Find what resonates with you.

Embrace Your Spirituality
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Art, dance, and music are our soul’s medicine.
When you engage with these practices, you’ll feel the joy they bring.
Even if you don’t see yourself as creative, everyone has the ability to create and connect with their magic.

Art and music are expressions of the soul, and when you begin to live with that understanding, you’ll start to see the magic in everyday life.
Life isn’t just about big moments. It’s about finding beauty in the ordinary.
Savor the Simple Moments
Take time to enjoy the little things: admire the flowers during a walk, wear your favorite outfit, or savor your cup of tea.
Make even mundane tasks into magical moments.
For instance, my shower ritual is quick, but full of intention: I light incense, play my favorite music, and set an intention for the day.
It’s a small act, but it makes a huge difference in how I show up.

Become Magnetic
Once you start embracing these practices, you’ll become magnetic. People will be drawn to your energy, but you need to practice discernment to protect yourself.
When you nurture yourself, you radiate confidence and power.
If this feels foreign to you, don’t worry. Like any practice, the more you do it, the easier it gets. Soon, it’ll feel like second nature.
Laugh more, slow down, and enjoy life. You are a masterpiece. Never forget that. 🫶🏾
