Best Podcast Episodes For Women Struggling With Loneliness
Ah, Loneliness!
That big elephant in the room that no one wants to acknowledge.
Welp, I’ll go first!
Because we need to talk about it. The news is definitely one place that covers this ad nauseam. But I want to hear it from the human perspective, from me, from you, from us.
Because as I am looking at it, no one wants to be seen as vulnerable enough to tackle this. But the reality is that it take tremendous courage to speak up on this.
And isn’t it crazy that we all deal with this to various degrees, yet everyone loves to act like it doesn’t affect them? 🤔 😒

We need to stop being embarrassed to talk Mental health
So I’ll go first.
I am so passionate about this topic that I literally had a talk on this with my therapist.
You see, that’s actually very big for me to say out loud.
Because, I am super new to this therapist thing.
My approach over the last 6 years has been ” self therapy” and educating myself as much as possible.
And I do believe this is amazing. Besides let’s not ignore the fact that therapy is absurdly expensive.
But you know it comes a point, were you get so tired of doing life alone and always having to be your own first responder, all the damn time. 😮💨

But anyways, I digress!
This kinda all comes down to the same topic of loneliness and the need for community.
I cover this so much on my women podcast.
And that’s also how I got the idea of putting together some of the best episodes on this topic.
The goal is to help women struggling with loneliness and help them navigate their lives and find new tools.

The need for vulnerability
Vulnerability creates relatability and allows us to connect with others.
This episode talks about this.
Wouldn’t it be a better world if we weren’t so scared to show a little bit of vulnerability?

The Need for Female Friendship and Sisterhood
If I have to pick my battles, that’s my hill right there.
Friendship is so important.
And the reality, is that although most women don’t realize it, but it is often where we get the bulk of our emotional support.
Way too many women feel unseen and unsupported within their romantic relationship. But seems like we aren’t ready to talk about these things yet. 🙄

The Need to parent ourselves
This is such a big topic for me.
One I hold very dear to my heart.
I start talking about trauma healing and how we need to show up for ourselves, especially if we didn’t have it growing up.

Creating a new-age Support system
There’s no denying that we live in a different world. But exactly how do we create a new support system for ourselves.
Most people don’t botter as they expect their romantic relationship to be their everything. But I believe this is so wrong and a very risky move.
Even if one was to have the most loving and healthy relationship, what happens if this person leaves?
Anyways, not to be a negative Nancy but these are some of the hard conversations we need to have.

Endings & Learning to let go
This is something that I struggle with myself, not going to lie.
A very emotional episode that brings us back to the need for community.

The Power of Daily Walks
Who would have thought that something so simple could have such a huge impact?

On the importance of Sisterhood
There is nothing more soothing and healing than a group of women coming together to support one another and have a great time.

Learn to embrace and Enjoy your solitude
Equally important is the need for one to learn to enjoy solitude.
It is an integral part of life.
Yes I know, I talk about community a lot but I also think this is equally powerful.

Seasonal Depression Tips
I decided to add this because loneliness can come in various forms.
Sometimes it is created by outside factors. Things like weather conditions and a lack of daylight can have a tremendous impact on our wellbeing.
As a Canadian girl from Quebec, I’m no stranger to harsh Canadian winters.
So that episode holds a very special place in my heart.

Ways to connect with people & Make friends
Solo female traveling continues to pick up steam and gain momentum.
So this is very useful episode for you to navigate your first time.
But the truth is, I still believe these apply outside of traveling as well.
These are all tools that I also use in my every day life at home to enhance my life and connect with others.

Women Only Group Tours
This can be a powerful antidote to the loneliness epidemic. I always make sure. to book myself into a group tour.
Not only that but I also started offering my own women only wellness retreat.
It’s all about self love and reconnecting with our feminine power through dancing. 💕

Benefits of women only group travel

Self Love is the answer
Start Loving Yourself more.
I really think the antidote to the loneliness epidemic is to prioritize community and also self love.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking a relationship or a partner is going to save you. This one might be very uncomfortable and a little bit controversial.
But this also comes from things I’ve actually witnessed and confessions made from so many of my girl friends.

Jealousy and envy between women
We need to talk about Women competition and jealousy.
I also get it, sis’

Women Self Love Wellness Retreat
I am so passionate about women empowerment. Everything I do is based on this. I want to see more women embrace their authentic selves. Trust me life gets so much better.
That’s the main focus of my self love women retreat. In this Wellness retreat, we go deep. I really love to connect with my fellow sisters.
That’s why I only do small groups of 10-12 women.

This retreat is an invitation to embody your feminine and to dive into radical self love. Growth and shedding past limiting beliefs is the focal point.
We do this through various workshops, wellness practices such as breath work and lots of somatic movement.

As a dance teacher, of course we will also be using the power of dance and music to process, release and shed things that are holding us back so we can be born again.
Welcome to our transformational retreat where the focus is all on YOU.
Not only that, but we do it in style and comfort.

Our next retreat is in a breathtaking villa on the beautiful island of Gozo Malta. We will be staying in our own private villa.
And did I mention our own private chef? with our own private pool 🤭.

It is the perfect time to slow down and prioritize yourself.
Also, don’t forget to stay in touch for my Bali self love women wellness retreat, for pure feminine embodiment and lots of dancing also.
