10 Unique Fun Things To Do On Your Next Bali Trip
You’re travelling to Bali very soon and wondering what is there for you to do?
Well, look no further, this current blog will give you some amazing ideas.
I won’t cover the typical Bali beach clubs stuff .
Instead, let’s talk about all the other fun stuff awaiting for you
Aerial Yoga

De-stress and move your body with some aerial yoga.
Not really sure it’s your thing?
You never know, you might actually end up loving it, the same way I did.

It is honestly one of my highlight from my time in Bali.
Not only that you will feel so much lighter but you will also surprise yourself by pushing your body and doing so many cool stuff.
Attend a Sunday festival at Udara Bali

Every Sunday, they put together a very nice schedule.
You start with meditation.
Then it’s time to choose between a yoga session or breath work.
Everything ends with an ecstatic dance movement session with a specialized DJ.

Go Shopping
No one likes those stereotypical “Made in China” cheap goods.
And that’s one reason why shopping is so much fun in Bali.

The industry is so diverse so when you go shopping you are supporting the local economy.
Things are made locally, from the clothing that you buy to the beautiful Bali aesthetics house furniture.

Balinese Cooking class
Why not do a cooking class and learn the intricacies of Balinese cuisine?
There is so many colours, traditions and flavours.
This gives you such a unique way to connect with your host country.

Try Surfing
You might also be interested in surfing in Bali.
Surfing is very deeply entrenched into the Balinese culture. I even gave it a try.
Talking about taking your vacation to the next level. π

Spend time in Ubud
It goes without saying but you can’t come to Bali and not spend time in Ubud.
Yes some people are all about that Canggu life, but I really believe that Ubud is a bit of Bali’s soul.

So make sure you allow for plenty of time to explore this spiritual ground zero.

Do a yoga class
Lots of yoga classes for you to do in Bali.
Perhaps you can try something new? a new style?
Time to get curious and get out of your comfort zone a bit. π€

Sample the gym scene
When I tell you that Bali is a fitness mecca, I’m not kidding.
There are tons of state of the art gyms.
So have fun and unleash your inner child.

Nirvana
Nirvana is a world class fitness institution.
You will find some of the world’s best instructors. And they also have a nice recovery and spa section.
Have an active vacation

Even if you’ve never before had an active vacation.
Yes, I’m talking to you π
Even if you’re more the type to order unlimited mimosas while hanging out by the pool, I urge you to taste a bit of Bali’s active lifestyle.
It will seriously change the way you travel for the better. π€

Pole dancing fitness for my girlies
Calling out all my pole fitness girlies. π π½
It’s just so much fun trying new pole fitness gyms when you travel all around.
It’s a great way to get those endorphins. And it’s such a unique way to connect with the local community.
I love doing regular life things when I travel and try to live like a local as much as possible.
I think that is the beauty of slow travel. π«ΆπΎ

Go dancing
Not into pole fitness but you still want to get your groove on?
I recommend you try the more recently opened ” Drip” dance studio.
I booked a few classes there

and
OMG
π€
They are so welcoming. π€
You will find a variety of dance styles on their schedule. From floor work, to hip hop to afro beats.
There is everything there.
Have some of that hip shaking therapy, girl! π₯³
Get out of the beaten path

And finally, I want to encourage you to go beyond the hot spot of Canggu.
There is so much to do in Bali alone and then you have the greater Indonesia.
Have fun exploring and always respect the local culture.

I believe that as travellers, it is our responsible to avoid disrupting.
Let’s all strive to become ethical travellers and responsible human beings.

I am so passionate about women empowerment. Everything I do is based on this.
I want to see more women embrace their authentic selves.
Trust me life gets so much better. That’s the main focus of my self love women retreat. In this Wellness retreat, we go deep. I really love to connect with my fellow sisters.
That’s why I only do small groups of 10-12 women.

This retreat is an invitation to embody your feminine and to dive into radical self love. Growth and shedding past limiting beliefs is the focal point.
We do this through various workshops, wellness practices such as breath work and lots of somatic movement.

As a dance teacher, of course we will also be using the power of dance and music to process, release and shed things that are holding us back so we can be born again.
Welcome to our transformational retreat where the focus is all on YOU.
Not only that, but we do it in style and comfort.

Our next retreat is in a breathtaking villa on the beautiful island of Gozo Malta. We will be staying in our own private villa. And did I mention our own private chef? with our own private pool π€.
