The Best Beach Bars in Parnu, Estonia ( Don’t Miss These)

So You finally decided to give Parnu a chance and now looking for the best beach bars to spend some time in.

As charming as Parnu is, the weather can be a bit all over the place. So when it is beautiful, people definitely enjoy it to the max and you will see everyone outside. Estonians really know how to make the best of sunny days. Please note that all these places tend to open around lunch time and close around midnight.

So without further ado, this Parnu Travel blog will tell you all about the best seaside beach bars to visit in Parnu.

Cafe Aloha

The first one on my list is Cafe Aloha. This is also one of the first spots you will find on the beach.

This place is a bit of a catch all. There is so much to do over there. They offer kitesurfing lessons and various water sports. But this current guide is all about beach bars. So you can stop at Aloha to have a few cocktails. They also have a restaurant on site where you can perhaps get your breakfast or a brunch for the late risers.

Poko Resto Parnus

Right next to Aloha, you will see a beautiful restaurant with modern décor. My friends ate there and also vouch for the food. On a bright sunny day, this would be a perfect place to do some people watching.

Poks

Poks is just absolute adorable. I must be honest and say that it’s partly a reason why I fell in love with Parnu. I feel like the little Beach shack does such a good job capturing the true essence of Parnu.

There’s three sections. The first one is probably the one to catch your attention first, depending on which direction you are coming from. But this is the cocktail bar Poks where you will find some friendly bartenders working out of a makeshift van transformed into a bar.

Then on the other side is the taco bar. At first, I was weary that they didn’t have any avocados or guacamole. But they were so sweet to explain the hardships of shipping and keeping avocados fresh on that Northern part of the world. After giving it a try, I must say the tacos were absolutely delicious even without my favorite ingredient. You will find a few beach chairs on this section also.

Now for my all time favorite spot of Poks. It’s the middle section that stole my heart. You will find an oasis with a bunch of trees and blankets for you to lay down on the sand. There is even a hammock. What else can you ask for?

So I recommend you get yourself some tacos and a drink and relax on that magical hammock.

Oh and the cocktails are divine.

OAAS Rannabaar

Now this place is absolutely adorable. There was beautiful sunset backdrop the first time I discovered it. You will find the comfiest couches and the water fountains or puddle in the middle definitely sets the mood. This would be the perfect place for some sunset drinks. If you want to dress up and go to a bar a bit more posh, this would be a great destination.

If you enter this location on google maps, it might not bring you to the right place. So I recommend you enter Poks. Then the bar is right next to Poks on the right hand side ( with you facing the ocean)

Qué Pasa

Another favorite of mine, Qué Pasa is at the other end of Parnu’s boardwalk. It is very interesting because when I went there first time, it was a standalone bar with nothing much around in the immediate vicinity.

This is no longer the case. After my last visit to Parnu, I noticed the entire place got a revamp. If you are looking on google maps, it can also be referred to as “beach lounge”.

I can understand why. They totally revamped the place and now there are quite a few bars and restaurants in the same lounge spot. They even have a terrace on top which gives you a fantastic view over the sea. The top part also has a few lounge chairs for anyone looking to top up their tan.

Ginchilla

Still in the same “beach lounge” area, right next to Qué Pasa, you will find this lovely new bar. The bartenderss at Ginchilla are some of the nicest and they gave me a killer Aperol Spritz. I’m still dreaming of it as I am typing this right now.

More places for nice cocktails in Parnu close to the sea

Karusselli

This place isn’t on the beach per se but it is slightly inland. It’s about a 10 min walk inland and it is such an adorable spot with a very unique and authentic vibe that I just could not resist mentioning it.

If you would like a drink in a very quirky vibe and traditional wooden Estonian house, this is the place to go. At night they have a bunch of lights setting up the mood even more.
