8 Best Wellness And Mindfulness Activities to Do in Canggu, Bali
Canggu is all the rage in Bali. And you either love it or hate it.
Regardless of how you feel about the Canggu, there is no denying that it is popular for a reasons.
Canggu is electrifying and has something for everybody.
Now we’ve all seen those stunning rice terrace views and buzzing beach clubs like Finns, Potato Head and La Brisa Bali.
Yes they’re all amazing, however this current blog will focus on more grounded wellness activities.

So for all my wellness enthusiasts, I will share some of the best wellness and mindfulness activities I did during my recent trip to Bali.
Where are my wellness girlies at?
Let’s dive in!
Aerial Yoga

I really love aerial yoga. Funny thing is I never expected to love it so much. I discovered it by accident. But then it was love at fist sight.
Aerial yoga is so much fun, it is an understatement.
Now I’ve always been into sports but I never really did gymnastic. So I was really taken a back by feeling such a connection. It really made me feel as if I was a kid in a park.

If you find yourself curious about it, I do recommend that you give it a try.
You never know! π
During my time in Bali, every morning I’d wake up and go to aerial yoga at 7am at Udara Bali. I also heard great things about Nirvana Life Bali
Sound Healing
I first discovered the magic world of sound healing during my three months stay in Nepal.
I was enjoying my time in Pokhara.

I had just completed a 10 day silence Vipassana meditation at the foothills of the Himalayas.
While I was wondering around Pokhara and looking for things to do, an old Facebook post about Tibetan sound healing came up. So I gave it a try.
And the rest is history.
And oh my goodness, I never experienced as much peace as during my sound healing.

Udara Sunday Festival
I swear this blog is starting to sound like a sponsored post or something. But I promise it isn’t.
I think Udara Bali was attractive because it was a one shop stop.

I have to be honest though, I really like the concept of the Sunday Festival but I didn’t like it. This has nothing to do with Udara Bali.

This experience just made me understand myself better and realize that I am more of a small group type of person.

I still wanted to mention it in case someone else will want to give it a try. Every Sunday, they have a full in house program that starts with meditation.
Then you get to choose between yoga or a breath work session. The day wraps up around 12pm with an ecstatic dance.

There is a Dj on site who specializes in this program. So all the participants come together to dance to the beats of carefully selected songs
Water Yoga
During my time in Bali, I also discovered water yoga.
NGL, I only went there because I thought it was a bit of a funny concept but intriguing nonetheless.

And lo and behold, it was also a favourite experience of mine.
So I kept going back to Udara Bali so many times. I don’t even know how that came to be.
It just happened. That place felt so peaceful and it had everything I needed.
It was like a wellness amusement park
Journaling at a lovely coffee shop

This was honestly one of my favourite things to do in Bali. There are so many cozy coffee shops.

There is something about sitting down with your favourite cup of coffee that is so magical. It allows you to slow down and be deeply in the present moment.

If you’ve never done this before, I seriously recommend you give it a try. It will change your life, I promise.

Spa & Recovery at Nirvana Bali
There is a very well renowned spa at the Nirvana Bali.
It could be exactly what you need, just head there to Nirvana and have yourself a recovery day.
You can even book a massage right after your training and enjoy the idillic scenery.
Beach time with your favourite book

This is piggy backing onto journaling at the coffee shop. Most people get caught up in the shiny things and big events happening in Bali.
But I think not enough people take the time to go the beach just to relax. There are so many local beaches in Bali.
Just grab a book, a blanket and a snack and enjoy the slow life.

Summary
When it comes to wellness, there is so much to do in Bali, it’s insane.
At times you will feel like a kid in a candy shop. So just remember to pace yourself. That said, have fun and turn it in to the best trip yet.
There are so many possibilities.
Consider yourself warned though, you might love it so much that you struggle to come back. π
