10 Best Souvenirs To Bring Home from Bali
If you are looking for authentic things to buy in Bali, you’re in luck.
This blog will help you with your Bali shopping. I just came from the island of Gods after spending a few months there.
I’m super qualified to write this blog because I did quite a lot of Shopping in Canggu and Ubud.
So my recommendations are all based on my own personal experience from my Bali Travels.
At first, I struggled a bit with Bali. But then, the island of the gods started revealing itself to me and I started seeing the magic.

Artisan Silver Jewelry
Anyone obsessed with jewelry the same way that I am will be in for such a pleasant surprise. Bali is known for its silver.
Apparently, that’s where you’ll find some of the world’s best silversmiths. The craft is often passed down from generations.
Locally made Dresses
I was pleasantly surprised to find so many beautiful quality dresses.
Do give yourself a generous budget because if you love dresses, you will have a great time hunting down unique pieces.
I also love that they had plenty of whimsical and very feminine options for girlies like myself.
100% authentic Linen clothes
You know the boho chic style that is all the rage lately?
Well, Indonesia is ground zero for that.
If you are looking to expand your wardrobe, you are at the right place for that. I bought so many cute 100% linen pieces.
Please don’t make the assumption that because you are in Bali, everything is going to be cheap.
This is not the case but if you are after quality clothes, you will find plenty.
Hand Made Straw Handbags
I saw so many beautiful straw handbags. I wanted to get one but I got overwhelmed and distracted by the silver jewelries I was buying. 🤭
Oh and also the dresses!
But I really want you to know that if you are a girlie who also love beautiful handbags, get ready.
Artisan Made in Bali perfumes
Now this took me by surprise. I definitely didn’t expect a major scene for artisan and locally made perfume.
I ended up sampling quite a few perfumes and I really liked them and purchased a beautiful perfume set.
The first one being floral and the second perfume was very musky but in a unique way.
Anyways, all this to say, perfume lovers, rejoice.
Home Decoration
Another thing that Bali is known for is home decoration.
Bali will test your willpower like nothing else. 🤭
I know many people who come go to Bali to purchase unique home furnitures. Then they get it shipped back home via container.
That is such a way to elevate your home, isn’t it?
That said, you don’t need to go to such extreme. You can find many smaller home decoration items to purchase. To give you ideas, this could be things like:
- Beautiful dreamcatchers to decorate your hallway
- Candles and incenses
- Dining plates & straw plaited table mats
Summary
Shopping during your travels is a great way for you to support the local Balinese economy.
That said, you also get to come back home with the best memories and authentic ethically crafted souvenirs.
