Iceland Adventure: Through Fire & Ice
7-13 September 2024
Welcome to Iceland ladies! The land of the Vikings!
We will be spending the most exciting week in the land of fire and ice. Iceland has so much to offer. One could easily spend a lifetime there and only scratch the surface. That said have, we have one week and we will make sure to make it count.

From chasing some of the worlds mightiest waterfalls, Icelandic horses ( don’t you dare call them ponies:) , glacier hiking, exploring the Icelandic food scene… A week filled with adventures awaits for you. I cannot express to you how excited I am to show you Iceland, a place that I fell head over heels for and keep revisiting over and over again.
Day 1: Welcome To Iceland

After you land at Reykjavik airport, make your way to our awesome city hotel for the beginning of our tour.
We are staying at a beautiful hotel in Reykjavik. Take the time to freshen up and make yourself at home while we wait for everyone to arrive. Later we will have a fantastic dinner and delight our taste buds with some mouthwatering Icelandic gastronomy.

Highlights:
-Pre-dinner meetup
-Welcome Dinner with Icelandic food
Day 2: Seljalandfoss, Reynisfjara Black Beach, Skogafoss

Today is all about the South Coast. Keep your eyes peeled because we are about to see some of the world’s best waterfalls. You have probably seen pictures of the mighty waterfalls Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss. We will also do a glacier hike. You will also get to see the otherworldly black beach Reynisfjara.

Highlights:
-South Coast
-Chasing waterfalls ( Seljalandfoss, Reynisfjara and more)
-Glacier hike
-Reynisfjara Black beach

Day 3: Jokularson, Diamond Beach, Fjadrargljufur Canyon

We are continuing our South coast adventure. Hopefully the weather gods are with us and we can go along with the plan. This means we will be getting up close and intimate with some icebergs with a jokulsarlon boat cruise. We will have a quick stop at Hofskirkja to admire the beautiful little churches and get a feel of a bygone era. Then we will end with a bang by stopping at the Fjadrargljufur canyon.
Highlights:
-South Coast
-Jokulsarlon Boat cruise ( weather permitting)
-Hofskirkja
-Fjadrargljufur Canyon

Day 4: Golden Circle, Sky Lagoon
Rise and shine my beautiful ladies.
Today we are doing a classic on the Icelandic tourist route. The highlight of the day is the golden circle. But it will be much more than landmarks hoping. We will start with the route where we will get to see some Icelandic geothermal activity with a very famous geyser along with the Thingvellir National park.

Not only that but I am so excited for our stop at the Tomato farm where we will check out this family business and how they grow these greenhouse tomatoes. You will also get the chance to get really up close with the cutest Icelandic horses.

Today was a very packed day and we deserve to relax now. We will end our day at one of my all time favorite place in the city, the sky lagoon.

Highlights:
-Golden Circle
-Tomato Farm Visit
-Getting Up Close with Icelandic Horses
-SkyLagoon

Day 5: Food Tour & Shopping
the last few days were all about exploring the Icelandic landscapes, waterfalls and unique nature. Today we will dive deeper into Reykjavik. Most travelers just use it a hub stop for their hikes or a quick pitstop for their excursions but I truly think the capital also deserves some love.
Just like many places around the world, Iceland’s food scene has emerged and is also thriving. Yes, you’ve guessed it! It’s time for a food tour.

Come hungry as we will tease our taste buds with some of the best local delicacies. Later on, after we would have eaten and feasted like true Vikings, we will check out the shopping scenes. Think concept stores with some local handicrafts and unique items made by local artisans.

Highlights:
-Reykjavik Food Tour
-Shopping/ Concept Stores
Day 6: Reykjanes & Blue Lagoon
The Reykjanes peninsula is often referred to as the bridge between North America and Europe. This is also the home of the volcano Fagradalsfjall which last erupted in 2021. We will get up close with the volcano and its lava fields, soaking in this unique experience. Lunch will also be in town where we will get to taste the freshest meals. This region is very popular for their lobster soup which is often believed to be the best in the world, which I wholeheartedly agree with 🙂
Our next stop of the day is the very famous and equally beautiful the Blue lagoon for some well deserved relaxation after such a crazy fun week.
Highlights:
-Reykjanes Peninsula
-Blue Lagoon
-Farewell Dinner
