The Ultimate Serbia Adventure
Mountains and rivers, Fairy Tale Novi Sad, Wine & Bohemian Belgrade
Sept 21-29, 2023
Welcome to my Serbian tour for ladies. Words cannot even begin to convey how ecstatic I am about this trip.
Spend 9 glorious days discovering the very best of Serbia. My love affair for this beautiful Balkan country just keeps growing every day. I have been working on crafting the perfect itinerary and I’ve done just that here. Finally managed it . and I cannot wait for you to have the best time of your life.
I made sure to include the most sought after Serbian highlights. And the fun thing is that you get to do this with a group of adventurous like minded ladies. I really wanted to include the very best and you will find our schedule quite diverse. We will go from beautiful mountains, to sipping wine all while spending time in the bohemian and thriving city of Belgrade. All this while also getting adventurous with some Kayak time.
Day 1/ Sep 21: Welcome to Serbia!

Welcome to the beautiful Serbia! I hope you are ready for this exciting week.
We won’t be wasting anytime.
Once you arrive in Serbia, our private transfer will pick us up from the airport. Then will be heading to the beautiful lush national park region of Mokra Gora. I scouted the entire region to find us the best place to stay. We will be in a traditional Serbian Cottage surrounded by the greenest lushest trees.
Take in the views and enjoy the surrounding. In the evening we will have a welcome dinner , getting accustomed to Serbian traditional cuisine.

Highlights:
-Stay at an authentic Serbian Cottage in the forest oasis
-Taste the amazing local food
*Overnight at the Serbian Cottage ( night 1/2)
Day 2 / Sep 22: Western Serbia Mountains & River Kayak Adventure

Rise and shine my beautiful ladies!
We are in Western Serbia and today is a super fun day jam packed with activities. We will head to the popular and pristine Tara National park, a mountain paradise. There is a viewpoint where you can take outstanding pictures overlooking the gorge. A true photographer’s paradise.
Next stop is the Bajina Basta where we will chase some adrenaline and go Kayak over the Drina river. Don’t be afraid if you’ve never gone kayaking. The tour is catered to all levels, especially beginners with the best certified local guides. This is more of a pleasant kayak stroll on the calm waters.

On the way back to our beautiful cottage, we will travel back in time and stop at the old village of Mokra Gora. This village has been entirely reconstructed to reflect the old Serbian way of life. There is also a very old train, the 8 train that we will try our best to ride.

After this amazing day, we will be back at your beautiful cottage to unwind.

Highlights:
-Tara National Park & Viewpoint
-Lunch in Bajina Basta by the river
-Drina Kayak Adventure
-Getting up close with the House on the river
-Mokra Gora Old Village
-Sargan 8 Train for some nostalgia
*Overnight at the Serbian Cottage ( night 2/2)
Day 3/ Sep 23: Horseback Riding & Fairy Novi Sad
This is our last morning in the mountains and we will wrap this up in style with a horse tour in the beautiful Serbian fields.

Our time in the mountains was outstanding but it’s now time for us to slowly make our way to the fairy tale cities of Novi Sad, and Subotica.

Yes, I know, both the Kayak and horseback riding were fun but also hard work. And now it’s time to unwind in the beautiful luxury hotel I manage to score for us. There is a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi in the garden that can be used up until 9pm

-Heading to Novi Sad
-Unwind at the beautiful Luxury Hotel

Day 4 / Sep 24: Novi Sad Old Town & Shopping

Ladies, grab your best colorful dresses and get ready to strike a pose for the gram 🙂
Novi Sad is the second largest city on Serbia but the old town is quite popular for good reasons. We will tour around the beautiful colorful houses of the old city.
I will also take you to one of my favorite shopping place. A beautiful concept store where you will find the cutest jewelry pieces, clothes, shoes and nice gifts ideas. Best of all is that they are all made by local Serbian artisans.

-Novi Sad Old City Tour
-Fun Time Shopping
*Overnight at Novi Sad Luxury Hotel ( night 2/2)
Day 5/ Sep 25: Whimsical Subotica & Sremski Karlovci Vineyards

Ok so one cannot be in Novi Sad and not check out Subotica. So we will make a quick stop to marvel at the city’s art nouveau architecture.
Once we leave the fairy tales cities behind, we will be heading to Sremski Karlovci.
This is Serbia’s famous wine region. I absolutely LOVE this place. It is very special because the region is packed with very small family wineries instead of the bigger commercial types.
They have a very heavy hand and love to keep the wine pouring in Sremski Karlovci. Please make sure to bring some Serbian dinars with you as you always have the opportunity to pick up a few bottles directly at the wineries.
Then finally it’s time to head to one of my absolute cities in Europe, Belgrade.
I really wanted something out of the ordinary. So I booked up a luxury boat hotel and the entire boat will be ours 🙂
Woohoo! When I said we were doing Serbia in style, I was NOT joking!
Highlights:
-Subotica Tour
-Sremski Karlovci City tour
-Sremski Karlovci Wineries & Tasting
*Overnight at the Boat hotel [Botel] ( night 1/4)
Day 6/ Sep 26: Bohemian Belgrade & Ada Beach

Good morning my sunshines !
Wake up in Bustling Belgrade and let’s explore this bohemian city.
But first, remember how I said the entire boat was ours? 🙂
So I thought why not do something different? I will be putting together a little dance lesson class. Just to give you a taste of my upcoming dance retreat in Goza Malta. This dance lesson is no pressure and perfect for beginners. I just like to share my passion for dance plus I think it is a perfect way to be connected to our body and de stress, just like yoga.
I’m pretty sure that you’ve noticed how afrobeats is everywhere now:) Well, you are in luck because I am also a dancer and been teaching for the last 20 yers. The classes can cover anything from different Afrobeats dancing style to reaggae or zouk and various fusion. I will adapt this based on my inspiration for Serbia.
Of course this isn’t mandatory but don’t be scared to join. It’s all for fun 🙂 I just want to expose ladies to another wellness option and it could be a fun way to start the day.
Once again, it will be a beginner friendly dance lesson by yours truly, all in the comfort of our fantastic private boat hotel 🙂
Then we will take a city tour of Belgrade and head to one of the local markets.
In the evening, we will head to the famous Ada lake for drinks and dinner. Since there is also a beach there, you could bring your swimwear for a dip if you fancy.

Highlights:
-Morning dance class ( complimentary)
-Belgrade city tour
-Belgrade Market Tour
-Ada Lake, beach
-Stay in a very unique Luxury Boat Hotel
*Overnight at the Botel ( night 2/4)

Day 7 / Sep 27: Free Day in Belgrade

I will let you in on a little. My all time favorite thing to do in Belgrade is absolutely nothing. In other words, just wandering around and lounging and soaking up the vibe.
So this is why today is your free day in Belgrade.

You get to do whatever you want. There are so many cafes to explore. Or you can spend the day shopping or checking out the many museums. You can even choose to do nothing at all and just sunbathe at our beautiful boat porch overlooking the river.
I will offer another morning dance lesson:) Feel free to jump in before going on your merry way in Belgrade
Highlights:
-Morning dance class ( complimentary)
-Free Time to explore Belgrade
*Overnight at the Botel ( night 3/4)
Day 8/ Sep 28: Magical Fortress of Golubac

Today is our last full day in Serbia and we will end the trip with a bang. We will take a Daytrip to Golubac. Golubac fortress is just out of this world and I could not resist adding it to our Serbia itinerary.
Highlights:
-Exploring Golubac
*Overnight at the Botel ( night 4/4)
Day 9/ Sep 29: Until we Meet Again!

Yes I know, today is a very very sad day. But you know what they say? All good things must come to end. Actually I prefer to say ” Until we meet again”. I’ve poured my heart and soul in planning this ultimate Serbian tour and truly hope you have a blast. Like I say, it’s until we meet again. The fun doesn’t have to end. Important Information
I try my best to cover the most important sights of Serbia in around a week time. I did this trip in a road trip style in order to minimize crazy time spent in the car driving around. That said, we still have one driving stretch from the western region to Novi Sad that is around 4hr 30 min.
Also please note that while I try my best to make the tour as luxurious as possible, Serbia’s luxury tourism still at its infancy ( especially in the country side region) which only adds to its charm.
Please note that the first 2 nights we will be sleeping in a traditional cottage. And the last stretch, in Belgrade, we will be in the luxury boat hotel, where some rooms have multiple beds. Just keep this in mind and come with an open mind looking for adventure and I promise that you we will have the best of times 🙂
Also please note that I try my best to adhere to this exact schedule but things might be switched around to mitigate any last minute changes.
